I nogen tid har det desværre ikke været muligt at tilgå denne fremragende og velordnede samling af kilder til belysning af pestens hærgen i Danmark.
Med tilladelse fra Peter Ravn Rasmussen er jeg glad for at kunne gengive kildesamlingen her:

Denne ægæiske marmorstatuette af en lyrespiller (fra Amorgos, ca. 2000 f.Kr.), er afbildet her for at symboliserer, at mennesket altid har måttet tage teknologien til hjælp, for at undgå at de væsentligste ting i livet skal "gå i glemmebogen."

I den litterale tidsalder var bogen den væsentligste teknolgi - en rolle der nu er ved at blive overtaget af de elektroniske medier - men i de præ-litterale samfund måtte der musik til ...

pil En lille appetizer om fraktionering af isotoper
02-07-2010: Som et eksempel på, hvad der med tiden vil komme til at gemme sig under overskriften "Kemi", nå man befinder sig i fanebladet "Biologisk antropologi", er der en lille appetizer om hvordan man - vha. analyser af gamle knoglers indhold af isotoper af kulstof og kvælstof - kan sige noget om, hvorvidt personen fortrinsvis spiste fisk eller kød.

pil Tafonomi - ikke for sarte sjæle!
08-06-2010: Tafonomi er læren om de processer, som organisk væv udsættes for efter døden. Jeg har tilføjet en håndfuld artikler om forrådnelsesprocesserne i lig, om retsentomologi og om hvorledes man kan fastslå dødstidspunktet ud fra kemiske analyser af jordbunden omkring liget.
