If you are new to Stata graphs getting them just the way you want can be a daunting task. Sure you could use the Stata graph editor but as you will discover doing this over and over can get very time consuming. Additionally, if you ever want to update your graph you will need to do all those tweaks over again which can cause inconsistencies between your graphs. The best way is to set all your graph styles programmatically in the command line or your do file. This will allow you to copy and paste the styles over and over and never have to mess with the graph editor.
